Moving/Movement
I have furniture!! Sadly, it's all stowed away safely in the storage room until Moving Day. Still, it was fun. Crazy mad on a Sunday, burned a whole in my wallet and aching in new places after lugging it in and off the trailer, but fun.
I also called the rental agency again today and they ensured me that the mold that was written about in the newspapers was due to some kind of isolated leak and not in our building. This guy definitely sounds a bit shifty, but what he says makes some sense and we're now getting our separate inspection on move-in day. This could be both positive or negative - if they find anything it's a bit late to have any leverage, we kind of have to move in. But we do get to see the inspection ourselves instead of just getting a report, and this also reassures me he means it when he says there should be no problems. M is also getting in touch with the current residents today to negotiate the move-in date and deal with some practical issues, and she's going to check with them as well... Fingers crossed but I think it should be OK!
On Saturday I finally made myself go to Löplabbet to test my pronation type - apparently I'm neutral. This is somewhat disapppointing as I've been having recurrent problems with a shin splint/tibia pain for a couple of weeks now, and that could have been a probably cause. I went running last night and felt fine until this morning... it really sucks. It can apparently go away IF:
-you stretch/use a heat/ice pack/use liniment/change surfaces/train up your muscles/rest/not rest/cross-train. Alternatively it could:
-become cronic/cause a fracture/need surgery. Woohoo, not. I'm confused!!
Suggested alternate sports was bicycling and swimming. I *hate* bicycling with a vengeance, and swimming, well, that one should be obvious. Apart from the obvious it's laborious and all the chlorine ruins your hair and skin.
I'm a regular Miss Sunshine today!!! Well, it is Monday...
