On four footed friends (and enemies)
Today I'm having my first bad hair day since I got my new hair almost 3 weeks ago. I guess it was bound to happen some time. Three weeks with fab hair every day - what a luxury! I can't really explain what's happened to it, but it looked odd already after my shower yesterday despite following normal protocol. Could be the weather, it's the one slightly down-cast day of a 10-day period, with heat-thunder and such expected.
What else to report? The most pleasant development is that the warm summer air has led me to start using our patio. As its on the ground level it's kind of hard to avoid getting to know your next-door neighbour, which in this case is perfectly fine as she is a fairly normal nice youngish woman.
She is however a spectacular person in that she frequently has her two dogs outside - ie right next to our patio. These sweethearts have been keeping me up/waking me up with their barking on and off since she moved in, and I joked to my kombo that I should get 'cuddling rights' for the disturbance. And now I have it!! I can't sit next to them without them getting nosy and interested and the owner certainly doesn't seem to mind - so now I can pet and cuddle them almost at my convenience! I can also see them from my bedroom window quite often. They just make me smile, they're so awfully cute! Some kind of northernish race with lots of white fluffy fur but quite big. Not very barky otherwise, one of them is just senile and starts barking for no reason. I have to say, this is has increased the 'trivselkänsla' of my flat enormously.
Oh. Our neighbour does however also own a cat, which is fond of sneaking into our flat. Just yesterday I had to shoo it out from M's room and it really startled me!
Sneaky creatures overall, cats. Pfah.
