Unvoluntary detox-diet, Day 2
Yesterday's lunch: cabbage salad and cottage cheese. Today: broccoli and cauliflower and cottage cheese. The veggies are actually delicious, but you can only eat so much of it before you get a bit queasy. Unfortunately, at that point you may still be hungry. Yesterday I did make up for the healthy, low-calory lunch by eating leftover party snacks when I arrived home, ravenous, at 7.30pm. Crisps and leftover chocolate cake! So no risk of losing any weight, thank god... hahahaha.
Anyway, I did succeed in something yesterday, which was the purchase of a dress. I've been in every store I can think of, except HM, so yesterday I went there. I've tried dresses for 4 times the cost, in the end I liked and fitted into a dress which only cost SEK300/£20/€30 and unfortunately is part of HM's Xmas campaign = most females will recognize the dress and its low cost immediately. Luckily, I don't care! It's not really the kind of dress I was looking for though so I will continue the search this weekend, when I'm spending some quality time with the parental unit who are whisking me off Saturday for the mall.
The last two weekends have been fairly hectic, so that'll be nice. The weekend before last I spent in Gothenburg chilling with F and A, and spent some serious time shopping. Not just for me though! F was in serious need of clothing items and I am her #1 shopping buddy, because we know each other well enough to actually get something tried on, despite the arduous wait involved on the accompanying party's side (who may also be utilized for advice and/or obtaining other sizes). Because regardless of how similar you and your shopping friend may look, it is almost inevitable that you will not both want to try on 10 items in the same store. If you find someone like that, hold on to them!!
This weekend we had our house-warming, which I consider a success. Everyone loved the food (of which there was enough), seemed to enjoy themselves, and I enjoyed myself immensely. And the house is still intact. Yey!
