Finally!
Found the right setting on the AC - it's been boiling boiling in here with the recent warm weather (21-22C). It's lovely outside, I want to be there! Especially today, even though I was tired last night I couldn't sleep and not on the train this morning either. As I am now getting up at 5.30 and biking to the train station, not only am I getting less sleep but when I get on the train I've got adrenalin pumping from the exertion and the cold wind in my face, and my body doesn't feel like making up for lost time by napping. So I nap on the train home, which is maybe why I couldn't sleep last night...
This might as well be my exercise diary btw - I was in Stockholm over the Labour day weekend and so haven't run for over a week. So I thought it would be hard going when I went yesterday, but it was awesome! I just felt like I ran higher and more energetically with less effort. It was quite a rush! I'm not good with names of muscle groups, but whatever muscles you develop from running are definitely not the same used for biking - I biked home once so far and wanted to puke. When I came home I actually felt like running (being already sweaty and warmed up and everything!), but my calves said - no. Emphatically so. I'm not stupid, so I took a walk to stretch out instead.
So yes, Stockholm. It's so cool! Apart from lots of coffee, lunches and drinks with near and dear friends (I was probably social enough to make up for at least a month of weekends spent solely in the company of the parental unit, awesome), some high-lights included the 1st of May demonstrations on Thursday, wide-spread Jesus Manifestations on Saturday (I've still got 'Jesus för världen' on repeat in my head almost a week later) and also on Saturday a visit to Debaser (Slussen) dancing to rockabilly and later Messer Schups.
Apart from the last half hour at Debaser which I spent drunk and lost (my friend forgot her cell phone and I also realised I didn't even know her address) it was all really cool (I'm sure you've seen people like that when out, wandring around confused looking upset - last Saturday, I was that person). But everything worked out and I didn't want to leave on Sunday (which I almost didn't, arrived at the gate for my flight 5mins before boarding which for me is not successful planning, but panic).
But all's well that ends well. Now back to work :)
