autumn (and involuntary indecent exposure)

London is being bathed in golden autumn rays and crispy heaps of leaves, and is quite lovely at the moment.

As such I went for a walk on my lunch break, and had what could be described as a very Marilyn Monroe-esque moment (or, alternatively, involuntary indecent exposure) as my normally very well-behaved voluminous and pleated favourite skirt decided to opt out of its customary puff-ball-ish (and very modest) reaction to heavy winds when faced with an unexpected gust from the side (leaving me flailing and exposing my nylon-encased hindquarters to a bunch of construction workers (yes! the cliché!!) and the usual stream of tourists and business people present at Piccadilly a Monday lunchtime).

So, that was my contribution to the well-fare of others today, providing at least a handful of people with an excuse to laugh their ass off (at my ass, as it were...)
